During my recent stay at Château de la Roque, I found the wellness centre to be a highlight. Open from 17:00 to 19:00, it offers a serene space to unwind post-exploration. I indulged in the traditional hammam, followed by a soothing massage, which was a perfect remedy after long days of travel. The grounds themselves exude charm, and a leisurely walk revealed a hare bounding across the fields—an unexpected touch of nature. Breakfast was enjoyable and consistently replenished, particularly the homemade yogurt, which I relished. While bathrobes and a welcome note would enhance the experience, the surrounding landscapes, combined with an accommodating staff, make Château de la Roque a solid choice for a rejuvenating escape when visiting the Normandy beaches.
